Step-by-Step Application Process for Acrylic Primer
Surface Preparation
Start by cleaning the area. Remove dirt, leaves, and any stains. If there’s a big mess, use a pressure washer. If you find cracks or holes, fill them in with patching compound. This keeps the surface nice and smooth.
Mixing
Look at the instructions from the manufacturer to mix the cushion coat. Typically, you just need to mix it well. You might also need to add some water to get the right texture. Make sure it’s all mixed together nicely.
Layering
The application of the Coat should be multi-layered according to recommended application guidelines to achieve maximum cushioning and stability of sports court flooring.
Application Method
Once you apply it, let the first layer dry for about 1 to 3 hours. The drying time depends on the weather. Make sure it dry before you add another coat. Add one or two more layers for great results.
Final Inspection
After everything is dry, check for spots you might have missed. If you see any, just grab a roller or a small brush and touch them up. Once you finish the last layer, let it dry for 24 to 48 hours, based on the weather.
